Check Before Purchase: 0.2 acres (8,700 sq ft) max mapping area. For grass under 3.5" and flat lawns (height difference under 1.2"). (Note: Not suitable for St. Augustine and dense Zoysia. Slope < 18°.)
Hands-Free Auto Mapping: With V-FSD positioning technology, E15 comprehensively and accurately maps your yard and plans the mowing path, which can be easily managed on your smartphone. (Note: Subscribe to 4G data via the app for stable connectivity if your yard isn't fully covered by Wi-Fi.)
Precise Obstacle Avoidance: E15's 3D perception system accurately detects obstacles, ensuring it avoids collisions in complex garden environments.
Reliable Lawn Maintenance: E15 can achieve beautiful and uniform parallel cutting. Smart coverage detection system ensures no area is left uncut.
Worry-Free Experience: E15 features GPS tracking to prevent theft. With easy app control and automatic recall during rainy or low-light conditions, it provides a seamless, worry-free experience.
No Wires, No RTK, No Signal Issues: E15 utilizes pure vision FSD technology with high-precision cameras and intelligent algorithms, eliminating the need for wires or an RTK station.
1. How do I know if the eufy Robot Lawn Mower is suitable for my yard?
Please review the following to guarantee optimal performance:
Lawn Size: Less than the max mapping size 0.2 ac(8,700 sq ft).
Slope Check: Less than 40% (18 degrees)
Grass Type: No dense Zoysia or St. Augustine grass, and the grass height is below 9 cm(3.5 in).
Terrain: Mostly flat with variations under 3 cm(1.2 in).
1. How to prepare my lawn?
Following these steps will help ensure a smooth mowing experience:
Mowing Hours: From half an hour after sunrise to half an hour before sunset.
Grass Height: Keep grass under 9 cm (3.5 in).
Types of Grass: We don't recommend using this product to cut Zoysia or St. Augustine grass.
Slope Check: Ensure slopes are ≤18 degrees; set No-Go Zones for steeper areas.
Clear Obstacles: Remove stones and debris, and fill in any holes or uneven ground.
Wi-Fi Setup: Use a mobile hotspot for initial setup if Wi-Fi coverage is limited. After setup, enable 4G to ensure stable connectivity.
Set No-Go Zones: Mark areas where the mower could get stuck, like pipes or sprinkler heads, and areas not fully covered with grass. Allow low stepping stones.
2. How to use the base station?
Placement: Ensure a straight path of at least 5 m in front of the base station.
Map Limit: Each base station supports one map. For more maps, contact eufy support to order additional base stations.
Installation: Secure the base station using nails for lawns or glue for hard surfaces.
Return Mower to Base: Press "Return" and then "OK".
3. How long does it take to start using the lawn mower?
Initial configuration is completed in approximately 5 minutes. The mapping process typically requires 3–4 hours for a standard 0.2 ac (8,712 sq ft) area. Large, complex areas will take longer.
1. How can I achieve better edge cutting results?
Safe Distance: Avoid edges with obstacles, ditches, or cliffs.
Optimize Edge Cutting: Adjust Danger Zone Detection settings for closer cutting. This may increase mower hazards.
Trimming Near Walls: Grass within 10 cm (4 in) of walls may require manual trimming.
Boundary Grass: Trim grass taller than 9 cm (3.5 in) before mowing.
2. How to optimize mowing performance?
Grass-Cutting Zone: For full coverage, manually set the grass-cutting zone, especially for yellowed or patchy lawns or manhole covers.
Cutting Height: Gradually lower blade height for tall grass.
Multi-Zone Pathway: Set up a Multi-Zone Pathway if the distance between lawns is ≤60 m.
No-Go Zones: Mark areas where the mower could get stuck.
Boundary Setup: For unclear divisions with neighbors, use physical barriers or set virtual walls after mapping.
3. What is the maximum mowing area per battery charge?
100-150 ㎡ (depending on environmental factors).
4. Does the mower automatically resume mowing after recharging?
Yes.
5. How to maintain it to achieve good usage results?
Base Station Placement: Keep the charging cable 30 cm (12 in) above ground to prevent water damage.
Software Updates: Regularly update firmware. Update to the latest app and V6 firmware to use the new map splitting and zone management features?
1. Safety Tips
The robot lawn mower's camera has a 96° horizontal field of view (FOV) and an 80° vertical FOV. To ensure safety, please avoid standing in the blind spots on the sides or behind the mower while it is mowing.
